This project is intended to diverse audience interested not only in a classical music. Chopin & Visuals adds some innovation in a form of combining classical concert with projection of live visuals led by Polish visual artist Ari Dykier. Project is implemented by Japanese pianist Naruhiko Kawaguchi, who plays on a historical instrument and Polish soprano Aldona Bartnik, who specializes in historically informed performance. Artists present songs of Fryderyk Chopin and selected piano works by this outstanding composer. Their performance brings an authenticity of sound and subtle style from the turn of the 20th century with sensual visual arts.
Premier of the project took place at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław. Future plan for this project is performance at the World EXPO 2025 in Osaka – Kansai in Japan.
