Project is implemented by soprano Aldona Bartnik, who specializes in historically informed performance and Japanese pianist Naruhiko Kawaguchi, who plays on a historical instrument.
During the concert, the artists will present selection of songs by Karol Mikula and piano nocturnes by Ignacy Paderewski, Eduard Wolff, Julian Fontana and Ignacy Feliks Dobrzyński.
Their performance brings an authenticity of sound and subtle style from the turn of the 20th century. Artists invite you to listen to all songs of Fryderyk Chopin and selected piano works by this outstanding composer. Results of their artistic collaboration is the album “A few words about love…” released in 2021. which repertoire comes from musical manuscripts researched in the collections of scientific libraries in Wroclaw.
