Following the research on musical manuscripts I have begun in 2019, in 2025 I continue this fascinating work.
This time I turn my attention to the collections of European scientific libraries. The result of the research is publication of a set where I will include among others: musical manuscripts, literary notes and memoirs written in chronicles dating back to the period between the 16th and 20th centuries. All these materials are united by one main motto – POLISH TRACES.
I am implementing the project as part of a ministerial scholarship, which supports my creative work and motivates me to develop artistically. The project will also include the release of new recordings (audio video) devoted to the effects of my European explorations.
The project concerns libraries located in four different countries in Europe:
SWEDEN
* Libraries in Strängnäs
* Lund University Libraries
* Royal Library in Stockholm
* Uppsala University Libraries
* Västeras Libraries
It concerns collections dating back to 1660
ITALY
* San Pietro a Majella Library in the Naples Conservatory
It concerns collections dating from approximately 1550 to 1770
GERMANY
* Hohenzollern Museum
It concerns collections dating from approximately 1530 to 1918
THE NETHERLANDS
* Royal Libraries in The Hague and Amsterdam
* Royal Archives in The Hague
It concerns the profile of the Dutch princess – Marianna of Orange and collections dating from 1825.
Keep your fingers crossed for me!
