It is honor and pleasure to invite you for listening to the second part of my Final Master Recital. It is a summing up of the Master Course I did at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Considering how much I have learned, explored and realized in the Netherlands, both on professional and private field this recital means a lot of for me. Your coming makes this evening more special!
Together with wonderfully playing instrumentalists from the Conservatoire we are pleased to invite you for 50 minutes recital offers a various repertoire. In program appears the most significant and popular Baroque genres: cantata, oratorio and opera what was an extensive subject of my vocal studies in The Hague. However, during the Master Course I have been working not only on Baroque repertoire but also on Romantic one, especially with fortepiano and woodwind instruments company. Exploration on this music with particular indication on art songs brought me an exciting artistic experience. For that reason apart from the typical Early Music repertoire, today I am delighted to present also a set of Romantic songs. I am happy to end today evening with Polish accent inviting you to listen to folk songs from one of Polish ethnic region – Kurpie.
Today recital is the second part of my final exam. It is the reason why there is no interval and repertoire contains approximately 50 minutes music.
The firs part was dedicated to Polish Vocal Baroque Music – subject of my research paper work. The concerts took place on 22nd, 23rd,24th April 2016 in Voorshoten, Cracow and Warsaw. Together with students from the Conservatoire we have performed in most significant historical Polish venues. The project was an effect of cooperation between the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, the Foundation Musica Antica da Camera, the Polish Embassy in The Hague, theNational Forum of Music and financial support of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
