The project invites audiences on a musical journey through the seasons – a symbol that has fascinated philosophers and artists across various artistic disciplines for centuries.
During the recital, the audience will listen to songs and solo piano works by Polish, German, French, and British composers. These creators approached the seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter not merely as images of the changing natural world, but above all as metaphors for human life: birth, growth, maturity, and reflection on transience. The project also encourages contemplation of the fleeting nature of moments, reminding us of the importance of cherishing them, as it is precisely these moments that enrich human life with lasting memories. It further reflects on respect for the laws of nature and the passage of time, before which all people, regardless of origin, remain equal.
The Seasons was created in collaboration with the distinguished pianist and chamber musician Paweł Sommer, and invites listeners to embark on an emotional journey in which the beauty of music paints the successive stages of human life.
